English as a Second Language (ESL)

Program Overview

Providing quality ESL services is heavily dependent on the library’s ability to secure grants. Due to grant funding cycles, our literacy program only has ESL instructors available for 1:1 and small class instruction seasonally. Outside of the seasonal availability of ESL instructors, we have tiered online learning platforms and curricula available: ESL for Beginners by ESL Instructor Gracie Matthews, and Burlington English curricula.

Program Requirements

Contact Literacy Coordinator Kim England [phone: (918) 367-6562 email: bplliteracycoordinator@gmail.com] to get enrolled in our ESL Program!

Due to a limited number of seats available each year, learners are required to complete the online ESL for Beginners course before utilizing the library’s Burlington English access. Once the prerequisite ESL For Beginners class is completed, learners earn Burlington English access.
